First of all, I would like to thank everyone that came to the first meeting. We have a great group and everyone is enthusiastic about the 2007-2008 academic year!
During the first meeting, we elected the following officers:

We also discussed some ideas for this year and talked about the OSHA scholarships.
Special thanks to Melanie Gilbert for stepping in and arranging a meeting for those interested in carpooling to the OSHA conference. She invited the Social Committee for an evening to discuss OSHA conference details, as well as discuss ideas that the Social Committee has for this year.
The following people attended this meeting: Claire Bard, Kimberly Jones, Kerri Nelson, Jeff Gierer, Kim Turner, Sebastian Charbonneau, and Melanie Gilbert.
They planned a regular come-as-you-wish, Thursday night social hour at Paccini's, and discussed creating a Google group for NSSLHA.

We will have NSSLHA t-shirts available at the meeting. They are being sold for $10 each.
There are some people who signed up for a committee but are not yet members of NSSLHA. If you are one of those people, please fill out a membership form and turn it in with $10.
