What is NSSLHA?

NSSLHA operates as an independent organization & is recognized by the discipline's professional association (ASHA), as the official organization for students interested in communication sciences and disorders
- NSSLHA was created due to students' desire for closer affiliation with professionals in the discipline
- NSSLHA exists at both a national and local level
Why join?
- To meet others interested in speech and hearing sciences
- To help plan and participate in great social events sponsored by NSSLHA
- It's resume material: NSSLHA gives you experience in planning and executing events, organizing groups and managing projects, and introduces you to new topics and experts in the field
- For volunteer experience: participants donate time, raise money and give support to various organizations throughout the year
